Lynette Smith

Lynette Smith, age 72, a 45 year resident of the Romeo area, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital Center in Clinton Township. Lynette was born April 6, 1937 in Sydney, Australia, the daughter of Robert and Gertrude (Harre) Topin. She married Thomas Smith on May 4, 1948 at the West Minister Presbyterian Church in Lansing, MI. Lynette enjoyed spending time at their White Fish Pointe cabin, boating, taking care of her garden, traveling, camping, flying her radio controlled airplane, and her beloved music. Lynette is survived by her husband Thomas, sons: Kevin (Lisa) Smith of Goodrich, MI., and Howard Smith of Savannah, Georgia. Lynette is also survived by her brother Ian (Kaye) Topin of Sydney, Australia. Memorial gathering will take place on Tuesday, August 4 from 5—7 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Jim Hockley officiating a 7 PM service. Visitation: on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 from 5 PM till 7 PM Services: Tuesday, August 4 at 7 PM
