M. Juanita Perkins, age 91, a 50 year resident of the Romeo area, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at her home. Juanita was born January 16, 1924 in Ogden, IL., the daughter of Henry and Fannie (Richardson) Denhardt. She married John D. Perkins on August 16, 1944 in Ogden, IL., and he preceded her in death on February 23, 2004. Juanita retired as the office manager at Romeo Printing in 2012. She also worked for Anderson Printing also in Romeo for many years. She was a current member of the Bethesda Christian Church in Sterling Heights. She was most proud of being a Christian, and her hobbies include her flowers, gardening, and raising her birds. Juanita is survived by her children, Larry (Norma) Perkins of San Jose, California, Patricia (Pete) Lasko of Nancy, Kentucky, Daryl (Janet) Perkins of Clinton Township, grandchildren, Paul (Rachel) Lasko, and Nicholas (Amanda) Lasko, Jessica, Christopher, William, and Stephen Perkins, and great-grandchildren, Tyler and Veronica Lasko. Funeral services will take place on Sunday at 2 PM at the Bethesda Church in Sterling Heights with visitation to take place from 1 PM till the service starts at 2 PM. Visitation will take place on Saturday from 6-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Burial will take place on Monday at 11 AM at the Romeo Cemetery.
