Manuel J. Felix

Manuel J. Felix, age 33, a 12 year resident of Attica and formerly from Allenton, MI., passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the Lapeer County Regional Hospital. Manuel was born September 27, 1982 in Culiacan Sinaloa, Mexico, the son of Isaias and Celia (Huerta) Felix. He married Laura Medrano on May 28, 2004 in Lapeer. After graduating from Almont High School in 2001, Manuel currently worked for the Vintech Industries in Imlay City. His hobbies include snowmobiling, riding his motorcycles and four wheelers, but most of all, just being with his many children, family and friends. Manuel is survived by his wife Laura, 5 children: Daniel, Favian, Adrian, Ariella, & Isaac. Also survived by his parents Isaias & Celia along with siblings: Marcia Martinez & Javier, Jorge, Alex, and Jasmin Felix. Laura’s sisters Ana Lopez & Anabelle Medrano survive along with many 7 nieces & 4 nephews. Visitation will take place at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo from noon—4 PM on Sunday and from 5—7 PM at the Apostolic Church of Auburn Hills (3655 N. Squirrel Road, Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326, between Dutton & Tienken Roads). At 7 PM Sunday the religious service will take place at the church. Donations to the family would be appreciated. Due to Manuel’s dislike of the color black, everybody please wear something non-black/colorful to help celebrate his life on Sunday.
