Marcia F. Bolam

Marcia F. Bolam, age 56, a lifelong Washington/Romeo area resident passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at her home. Marcia was born March 3, 1959 in Lapeer, the daughter of John M. and Helen (Hixon) MacLeod. She married Bob Bolam on November 13, 1982 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Romeo. Marcia worked many years as a bus driver for the Romeo Schools and then worked as a secretary in the bus garage for a few more years. After retiring, she worked as a greeter at the Malburg Funeral Home and did home care for area families children. Her hobbies include reading, scrapbooking, and spending time in Mexico during the winters. Marcia is survived by her husband Bob, daughter Abby (Dan) Carito of Shelby Township and her mother Nancy MacLeod of Romeo. Funeral services will take place on Friday at noon at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Eric Majeski of Grace Lutheran Fellowship of Romeo officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-8 PM. Donations to “Kids Kicking Cancer” would be appreciated.
