Margaret (Peggy) Arbron, age 86, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Peggy was born July 2, 1926 in Lockport, New York, the daughter of Warren A. and Merle (Chubb) Parks. She married Thomas J. Arbron on September 2, 1949 at the First Congregational Church in Romeo and he preceded her in death on September 18, 2003. Peggy was an avid bridge player, belonging to many clubs including the Thursday Bridge Club. She also belonged to the Romeo Monday Club, was a bibliophile, loved to dance, and entertain her many friends, but her love of life was her family. Peggy is survived by her children, Nancy (Neal) O’Brien of Romeo, Thomas W. of Norwalk, Connecticut, and Carol (David) Braunschweig of Libertyville, IL. Also survived by her brother Robert A. Parks of Florida along with grandchildren Kate, Mary, Maggie, Cathleen, Alyson, & Jake and great-grandchildren Brandon, Emily, & Josephine. Peggy was preceded in death by her infant children Patty Jean and Parks Arbron. Memorial services will take place on Tuesday at 11:30 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with visitation to take place on Monday from 5-8 PM. Donations to the Romeo Monday Club and/or Starkweather Alley would be appreciated.
