Marian G. Johnson

Marian G. Johnson, age 91, a resident of the Ferndale/Clinton Township/Utica area, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Gardens on Moravian Assisted Living in Clinton Township. Marian was born May 8, 1925 in Iron Mountain, Michigan, the daughter of Leanus and Hilda Johnson. She married Lawrence R. Johnson on August 23, 1947 and he preceded her in death on September 26, 2002. She was a longtime member of the Campbell Memorial Church in Ferndale. Her hobbies included quilting, needlework, sewing, and gardening. Marian is survived by her two sons, Scott (Laurie) of Washington Township and Dean (Barbara) of Utica. Grandchildren include Kristoffer and Erik along with sister-in-law Jean Johnson. Memorial services will take place on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11 AM at the Woodside Bible Church, 6600 Rochester Road, Troy, Michigan. Visitation with family will take place from 10 AM till the service starts at 11 AM.
