Preceded in death are Marilyn’s parents Laura and Frank Payne, and her brother Ben Payne. Marilyn made her children and grandchildren feel special by baking and decorating beautiful cakes for them. She enjoyed attending sporting events for her children, grandchildren and husband. Marilyn loved to dance, fish, bowl, golf, and in later years spent many hours in a hunting blind with Bob. She took many vacations to European countries, South Africa, Mexico, the Caribbean and numerous states. In later years she spent the winters in Punta Gorda, FL. Marilyn also enjoyed a lot of time at their cottage up north in Sugar Springs. Marilyn was a woman that loved her work and the people she worked with. She went in early and left late. She took great pleasure entertaining at her home and spent alot of time decorating for Christmas and making that a special time for her family. Her home was her happy place. From the moment she woke up in the morning the coffee pot was on and she had a cup in her hand. The exception was 5pm when the coffee was replaced with a whiskey and water. Marilyn never complained, even when the pain grew worse at the end. She loved her family and friends with all her heart and they loved her.
