Marilyn H. Meyers

Marilyn H. Meyers, age 69, a 32 year resident of Romeo passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Marilyn was born November 10, 1946 in Dearborn, MI., the daughter of Thomas A. and Dorothy (Fournier) Pilarcik Sr. She married David Meyers on October 15, 1971 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Harper Woods, MI., and he preceded her in death on September 6, 2005. Marilyn was a homemaker her whole life taking care of her family, especially her son Andrew. She was active with St. Clement Catholic Church in Romeo where she came to 7 AM Mass every Sunday. Marilyn is survived by her children: Julia Meyers of San Francisco, Andrew of Eastpointe, Margaret (Matt) Garcia of Kentwood, and Jacob of Romeo. Siblings surviving include Thomas (Linda) Pilarcik Jr., of Sterling Heights, Yvonne (Joe Allen) Abbas of Warren, and Jacquelyn (Ron) Chronister of Las Vegas. A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Clement Catholic Church of Romeo with burial to follow at the Romeo Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, June 23 from 2-8 PM with a 7:30 PM Rosary by the Knights of Columbus, Council # 7018.
