Marilyn Nicole Foltz

Marilyn Nicole Foltz, age 89, a lifelong resident of the Village of Romeo, passed away on August 11, 2023 at Beaumont Hospital of Troy. Marilyn was born February 2, 1934 in Washington Township, Michigan, the daughter of Edward and Mary Majszak. Marilyn was a Probate Court Officer in Macomb County, and also Owned M&J Antique Shop. She was a member of the Romeo Historical Society as well as the Romeo Garden Club. You could find Marilyn at one of her favorite places in town, the Romeo Café and the Four Corners Restaurant. She also enjoyed antiquing, garage sales, and gardening.

Marilyn is survived by sister Dorie Vierk of Sterling Heights, John (Wendy) Foltz II of Shelby Township, James (Sally Anne Morris) Foltz of Empire, Michigan, Terry Kawiecki of Rochester Hills, Jeff (Pat) Foltz of Washington, Michigan, grandchildren Jeff Foltz Jr., Jenny Bergen, Jay Foltz, Jessica Goike, Matt Kawiecki, David Woosley, great-grandchildren Alexa Foltz, Madalynn Foltz, Lillian Foltz, Blake Goike, Tilly Goike and Charlotte Bergen. Marilyn was preceded in death by John D. Foltz, Alan Kawiecki, and Miley Foltz.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 10 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Rev. Darcy M. Reis of St. John Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 4 to 8. Burial will follow at the Romeo Cemetery.
