Marion L. Pavlik

Marion Louise Pavlik, age 94, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015 at the Village Rehab and Care Community in Armada, Michigan. Marion was born August 30, 1921 in Romeo, the daughter of Clyde and Julia (Knust) Hotchkiss.  She married Frank Pavlik on November 1, 1941 at St. John Lutheran Church in Romeo, MI.  She was a very active church member, serving as President of the Women’s organizations, attending Bible study meetings, singing in the choir, and teaching Sunday school.  She enjoyed baking, knitting, crocheting, and especially time with her family.      Marion is survived by her three daughters;  Patricia (Rodney) Rohloff, Diane (Frank) Martin both of Washington Township and Lesa (Kirt)  Doke of Mt. Pleasant, MI., and grandchildren Darcy (Mike) Mackenzie, Renee (Greg) Gould, Matthew (Kristen) Rohloff, Sarah (Keith) Kimmel, and Greg (Kristin) Martin and nine great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Frank on December 28, 2001, along with sisters Marjorie Hotchkiss & Irene (Walter) Bauer and one brother, Robert Hotchkiss.       Funeral services will take place on November 13, 2015 at 12 PM at St. John Lutheran Church (246 Benjamin Romeo, MI 48065) of Romeo with Rev. Mark Evans officiating.  The family will be having visitation from 10 to 12PM.   Burial will be private at Christian Memorial Cemetery Rochester, Michigan.  Donations to St. John Lutheran Church Memorial Fund are appreciated.
