Marjorie J. O’Brien, age 80, a 45 year resident of Romeo and formerly from Trenton, MI., passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Marjorie was born November 30, 1928 in Binghampton, NY., the daughter of Donald and Mildred (Anderson) Inderleid. She married Leslie J. O’Brien on Oct. 10, 1947 on Mackinaw Island, MI., and he preceded her in death on November 12, 1991. Marjorie worked as a school bus driver for the Romeo School System for over 20 years and also drove school bus in the Port Huron System. Along with her husband, they managed the Apple Valley complex for over 10 years. Her hobbies include being with her family, working on her flowers, and going to antique auctions. Marjorie is survived by her eight children: Deborah (Mike) Holly of TN., Julie (Tom Ferrell) O’Brien of Romeo, Linda (Glenn) Moldovan of Ontario, Leslie (Holly Grundy) O’Brien of Ann Arbor, Sandy (James) Corbet of Missouri, Margie Capwell of TN., David (Jody) O’Brien of Las Vegas, and Matthew (Annika) O’Brien of Romeo. Also survived by 21 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, sister June Cook of Romeo and brother Mark Anderson of Toledo, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her brother Reginald. Visitation will take place on Thursday, June 18 from 3-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with her Memorial Service at 8 PM, following visitation. Malburg Funeral Home 11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo, MI 48065 Interment: Inurnment will take place on Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Romeo Cemetery
