Marsha D. Fritz, age 62, a resident of Florida for many years and formerly from Romeo, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2013 in Florida. Marsha was born October 26, 1950 in Detroit, the daughter of Harold Herbert and Elizabeth Jane (Sheaffer) Fritz. Marsha graduated from Romeo High School in 1967 and then served honorably in the U.S. Army, 101 Airborne, from 1967 to 1976, retiring as a Staff Sergeant. She then earned a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration in 1991 from USF, and retired from Sarasota Memorial Hospital after 25 years of loyal service in 2006. Her hobbies include bowling, her dogs over the years, and especially being with her many family & friends. Marsha is survived by her siblings: Jeffrey (Barb) Fritz, Norman (Donna) Fritz, John (Rebecca) Fritz and Matthew Fritz. Marsha was a loving supportive Aunt to her 13 nieces & nephews and great-nieces and nephews as well as to many cousins and many special friends & neighbors. Marsha was also a very loving caregiver to her mother Elizabeth and Uncle Luke for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Steven H. Fritz and sister-in-law Carol Fritz. Memorial services will take place on Saturday, October 19 at 10 AM at Grace Lutheran Fellowship with Pastor Eric Majeski officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Romeo Cemetery. Local arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
