Marvin C. Witzke Jr.

Marvin C. Witzke Jr., age 82, a lifelong Macomb County resident, passed away at his home in Shelby Township on Monday, June 5, 2017. Marvin was born April 2, 1935 in Detroit, the son of Marvin C. Sr. and Bernice (Witt) Witzke. Marv worked for ITT in Auburn Hills in supervision and had also worked for the Blaylock Company. He then worked in maintenance at the Romeo Golf Course for 22 years. Marvin served his Country proud while serving in the Air Force. His hobbies include golfing, bowling, sports fishing and all baseball activities. He played baseball on the Air Force team and returning home, played many years with local teams. Marv is survived by his children: Lori (Steve) Stefani of Lapeer & Larry (Paula) Witzke of Florida. Also survived by sisters Shirley Siebert of Lexington, MI., and Linda (Mike) Hannan of Armada. Marv was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou (Arnold-Teller) and survived by her children Jan Rinke of Washington Township, Pam (Jim) Couture and Dale (Jenny) Teller both of Romeo. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be private with burial of cremains at the Veterans Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. Local arrangements by the Henry M.
