Marvin J. Niebauer

Marvin J. Niebauer, age 74, a resident of Oakland Township since 1969, and previously from Rochester, Michigan, passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Marvin was born August 22, 1939 in St Clair, Michigan, the son of Louis & Mildred (Westrick) Niebauer. He married Barbara Ames on September 2, 1961 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Marine City, Michigan. After his marriage in 1961, Marvin started the Rochester Tree & Landscaping Company. His hobbies included all types of landscaping, riding his ATV’s, hunting, fishing, and most of all, being with his 5 grandsons. Marvin is survived by his wife Barbara, children: Lisa Niebauer of Metamora, MI., Daniel Niebauer of Troy/Louisville, Kentucky, Mara (Mike) Ganfield of Bruce Township and Stephanie (Joseph Frank) Mason of Romeo. Also survived by his grandsons Noah Ganfield, Jeremy Mason, Jacob Mason, Logan & Garrett Ganfield. Siblings surviving include Edward (Sandy) Niebauer & Ronald (Sheri) Niebauer both of Shelby Twp., Kenneth (Barbara) Niebauer of North Carolina and their sister-in-law Kathleen Niebauer of Richmond, MI. Marvin was preceded in death by his brother Roy. Memorial visitation will be on Saturday, November 30 from 2-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan with a 7:30 PM Scripture Service by Fr. Mike Verschaeve officiating.
