Mary A. Borowski

Mary A. Borowski age 90 a lifelong resident of Romeo passed away on October 25, 2017 at her home. Mary was born on March 12, 1927 the daughter of William White and Faye White (Cain). Mary graduated from Romeo High School in 1944 and was married to her husband George Borowski for over 40 years. In her younger years, she worked for the government at the Draft Board. She also worked at Lamphere Farms and at Big Red Orchard. She made hundreds of Quilts for Project Linus, Detroit Children's Hospital and Afghans for the VA Hospital. She loved knitting, crafts, quilting and crocheting . Mary is survived by her three daughters: Ellen (Jim) Powers of Capac, Laura (Matthew) Tabor of Almont and Debbie (Ken) Green of Ray Township. and Daughter in law Chris of Capac. She is also survived by her sisters, Gloria (Al) Sayles, Harriet Zwack, Vera (Bud) Brandt, Barb Konarski, and Karen Sheppard. She also had many grandchildren, Stacy (Troy) Trombley, Michelle (Garton) Urbani, James Borowski, Josh (Kim) Powers, Felicia (Brian) McMullen, Kenney (Tammy) Switzer, Shawn (Shellie) Switzer,, Kenneth (Hailie) Tabor, Nicole Tabor, Emily Tabor, Lucas Green, Tyler Green, plus 16 great grand children, and one Great Great grandchild. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1991, her son Dale Borowski in 2015, also her infant son Mark Borowski. She is also predeceased by 3 siblings William White, Pat Hammond, and John Sheppard. Funeral Services will be on Saturday October 28, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Clement Church Romeo, Michigan with Fr. Mike Gawlowski officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 2 PM to 8 PM at Henry Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan with a Rosary at 7 PM.
