Mary Alice King

Mary A. King, age 58 a longtime resident of Washington Twp. passed away on November 16, 2022 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Mary was born on November 23, 1963 the daughter of Lynn and Muriel (Proctor) Dunham. Along with being a Romeo High School Graduate she married Daniel R. King at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Washington Twp. on April 4, 1981.

Mary enjoyed many different activities. She loved the outdoors, and did a lot of camping and gardening. She also enjoyed listening to music, and loved to create, by quilting, crafting, sewing, and jewelry making. She loved spending time with her grandson Henry where they shared a special bond.

Mary is survived by her loving husband Dan of Washington Twp.. Children Melissa (Peter) Ryan of Clinton Twp. and Justin (Stephanie) King of Washington Twp.. Grandchild Henry Ryan. Siblings Al (Karen) Dunham, Kevin Dunham, Chuck (Keri) Dunham and Chris (Tracey) Dunham. Father in law Henry King. Brother in law Art (Lorraine) King and sister in law Sheri King. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her mother in law Anna King, brother in law Alan King, niece Adrienne Dunham, nephew Nathan Dunhamand sister in law Victoria Dunham.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 12:30 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 20, 2022 from 3-8. Burial will follow at Prestonville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
