Mary Ann White

WHITE, Mary Ann  It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Ann White, a 4 year resident of Dryden, announces her passing peacefully away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at the Wellbridge Nursing Facility in Romeo, at the age of 73 years. Mary Ann will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Dr. Larry and their children, Mark (Allison) of E. Grand Rapids, MI., Michelle of Savannah, Georgia, Jerry of Dryden and Dr. Barbara (Peter) Loria of Boise, Idaho. Mary Ann will also be fondly remembered by her four grandchildren, Grant, Mitchell, Katelyn and Erikson and by her siblings, Ron (Christine) Savage Clarkston, MI. and Barbara Savage of Grand Rapids, MI. Mary Ann was born on December 24, 1944, to Sidney and Caroline (Beilfuss) Savage in Fremont, Michigan. After graduating from Fremont High School in 1963, Mary Ann earned her Registered Nursing Degree at Cook County Nursing School in Chicago and began her career at Truman University in Kirksville, Missouri where she taught at the Nursing School. She became the Director of Nursing at the Oxford Institute at St. Johns and the Director of the Wound Care Center at Mount Clemens General. She also taught as a LPN instructor at Truman University.  Mary Ann enjoyed life to the fullest, enjoying skiing, boating, traveling the world, spending winters at Marco Island and summers at their Lakeville cottage.   Visitation will occur on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, 11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo.  Funeral will be Monday, November 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church, 3000 28 Mile Rd., Washington Township.
