Mary C. Dreimann

Mary C. Dreimann, age 88, a 60 year Romeo resident, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Cherrywood Nursing Facility in Sterling Heights. Mary was born April 3, 1923 in Detroit, the daughter of John and Mary (Ebel) Bauer. She married Otto Bittner on November 25, 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1976. Mary then married Werner Dreimann in September of 1978 and he also preceded her in death on April 4, 2002. With her husband Otto, they were longtime owners of the Romeo Bakery (Bittners Bakery) on South Main in Romeo. Mary was also a licensed beautician and worked many years in the Romeo area. She was also a former member of St John Lutheran Church in Romeo. Mary is survived by her children: Gerald (Lanette) Bittner of Romeo and Linda (Cliff) Finkle of Shelby Township. Grandchildren include Marc Bittner and Bethanie (Branden) Miller. Mary is also survived by her sister Dorothy Donofrio of St Clair Shores, MI. Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 7, 2011 at 1 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Evans of St John Lutheran Church of Romeo officiating. Burial will follow in the McCafferety Cemtery by her husband Otto.
