Mary C. Valevich

Mary C. Valevich, age 92, formerly of Chesterfield Twp. and for the last 12 years a resident of the Evangelical Home in Sterling Heights, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013. Mary was born September 18, 1920 in Carrolltown, P A., the daughter of Walter and Catherine Schettig. She married William P. Valevich on August 21, 1944 in Bakerton, PA., and he preceded her in death on December 4, 1999. Mary loved to exercise and being independent. She was loved by everyone who knew her and the number one thing in her life was her family. She is survived by her sons William J. (Mary) Valevich of Haslett , Allen (Barb) Valevich of Leonard. And her daughter Audrey (Robert) Warner of Muskego, WI. Also survived by sisters Edna Rita Schettig of Clearfield PA., Clare Quevy of Patton PA., and Rose Lesnak of Canton OH. Grandchildren include Christopher, Kimberly, Danielle, Rachel, & Erica and one great grandson Zachery Reinelt. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday 10 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Majeski of Grace Lutheran Fellowship officating. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-8.
