Mary Ellen Eastman

Mary Ellen Eastman, age 82, a resident of for the last ten years of Romeo and formerly from Almont, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, MI. Mary Ellen was born October 1, 1935 in Romeo, the daughter of Lyle and Kathryn (Nichols) Roberts. Mary Ellen enjoyed knitting, cooking, & gardening, and spending time with her many friends and family. Mary Ellen is survived by her children: Linda Eastman & Jane Dooling both of Romeo, David (Nancy) Eastman of Macomb, MI., Sally (Christopher) Day of Oakridge, TN., and John Eastman of Warren. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, many nieces & nephews and was preceded in death by her siblings: Shirley Hill, Bill Roberts, Olive Schwerin, Suzanne Carter, John Roberts, & Nina Kay Rich. Also preceded in death by siblings Virginia Roberts & Duane Roberts who passed away as children/newborns. Memorial services will take place on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 2 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Pastor Trevor Herm of the Romeo United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1 PM till the service starts at 2 PM.
