Mary Ellen Malburg

.Mary Ellen Malburg, age 71 of Allenton passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at her home. Mary Ellen was born June 13, 1935 in Detroit the daughter of Arthur and Madeline (Laethem) Samoy.  She married Clarence Malburg on Feb 9, 1957 in Harper Woods.  Mary Ellen was a longtime member of St John Catholic church in Allenton where she was a member of the Altar Guild, taught Religious Ed., helped with any church function, was a member of Ladies of Peace with the Knights of Columbus in Imlay City and a member of the Red Hat Society.  Her hobbies were always her grandchildren.   Mary Ellen is survived by her husband Clarence,  Children Art (Coreena) Malburg of Capac, Madeline (Ron) Parks of Allenton, Lucille (Scott) Baszewski of Lexinton, and Mary Beth (Barry) Brothers of Marshall, MI. Also survived by grandchildren Mitchell, Alexis, Nichole, Samantha, Kaitlyn, Spencer, Adam and Kyler..  She was preceded in death by her sister Madeline.   Funeal services will takes place on Saturday, at 9:30  am at St John Catholic Church of Allenton with burial to follow at West Berlin Cemetery.  Visitation will take place on Wed from 7-9 and on Thurs and Friday from 2-9 with a rosary on thurs at 8 PM and a scripture service on Friday at 8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeal Home, Romeo Michigan.  Donations to the Blue Water Hospice or to St John Catholic Church would be appreciated. Visitation: Visitation Times Wed 7-9, Thur & Fri 2-9 Malburg Funeral Home
