Mary L. Augy

Mary L. Augy, age 89, a resident of Shelby Township passed away on April 16, 2017 at the Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. Mary was born January 28, 1928 in Detroit, the daughter of George and Louise (Gerds) Ott. Mary worked as a bookkeeper for many years at Durable Fence in Sterling Heights, before retiring in 1965. She was also a former member of St Luke’s Lutheran Church in Detroit. Her hobbies include doing all type of crafts, knitting/crocheting, and baking. Mary is survived by her sons, Ray (Terri) of Shelby Twp., and Andy of Huntington Beach, California. Also survived by grandchildren Mike (Malisa)& Brian along with great grandchildren Emily & Alex. She was preceded in death by husband Paul, son Dave, granddaughter Dawn, brother George Ott and sister Betty Herbon. Burial of cremains will take place on Saturday, June 3 at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy at 11:30 AM. Local arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
