Mary M. Baade

Mary M. Baade, age 96, a longtime resident of Romeo, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday February 16, 2021 at her home in Oakland Township. Mary was born March 13, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of John and Paraschiza (Roman) Mihaiu. Mary worked at Hurd Lock in Almont for 19 years. She was a cook, avid housecleaner, and enjoyed going boating. Mary is survived by her son Lyman (Gail) Baade of Oakland, Michigan, grandchildren Kelly (Brian) Conlon of Lake Orion and Travis of Oakland Township, as well as one great-grandchild, Brian. Mary was predeceased by her husband Lymann H. Baade, daughter Iris Baade, and son William Baade. Visitation will be on Monday, February 22, 2021 from 10AM-12PM. At Noon, a small service will begin, and directly following, a burial will take place at Romeo Cemetery.
