Dr. Matthew P. O’Brien, lifelong Romeo resident passed away on June 12, 2019 in Florida. Dr. O’Brien was born on June 7, 1964 to Leslie and Marjorie (Inderleid) O’Brien in Romeo, MI. He graduated from Romeo High School in 1982. He dedicated his life to Chiropractic Wellbeing Services by graduating from Life University in Georgia in 1989. He returned to Romeo and opened O’Brien Chiropractic, which provided the Romeo, Bruce Twp, and Washington Twp communities with outstanding health care for almost three decades from 1991-2017. He loved music, spending time with his kids, and golfing. He was a member of the Stony Creek Community Church. Dr. O’Brien is survived by his children Matthew Alexander (Ashley) of Romeo, Matthew Lucas (Kelli) of Marquette, and Matthew Jacob (Juliet) of Romeo; his brothers David (Jody) and Les (Holly); sisters Debbie O’Brien, Linda (Jim) Jeffs of Canada, Nichole (Kelly) Capwell of Florida, and Sandy (Jim) Corbet of Missouri; as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Dr. O’Brien was preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Marjorie O’Brien and sister Julie. A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Dr. O’Brien on June 27, 2019 at 7 PM.
