Melodie A. Deneen

Melodie A. Deneen, age 50, a 4 year resident of Almont and formerly from the Romeo area, passed away at the Bortz Hospice Care of Warren on Saturday, December 27, 2008.  Medodie was born August 16, 1958, the daughter of James and Helen (Racz) Biggs.  She married Richard E. Deneen on October 22, 1988 at the Romeo United Methodist Church.  Melodie worked in the medical field, retiring from the Macomb Family Services and previously worked at the North Macomb Foot Clinic of Washington Twp.  She had also worked at I.M.C. plastics in Rochester, MI.  She enjoyed collecting Dreamsicles Collectables and taking care of her family, and being with her friends.     Melodie is survived by her husband Richard, son Taylor, and her parents, James and Helen Biggs of Washington Township.  She was preceded in death by her brother Todd.      Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo.  Burial will take place at the Romeo Cemetery.  Donations made by made to the Cross of Glory Church of Washington Twp.  Visitation will be on Sunday from 6-9 and on Monday from 3-9.
