Michael Eugene Santacrose

Michael Eugene Santacrose also known as “Gene”, age 53 a resident of Romeo, MI for 30+ years passed away on December 31st 2022. Mike was born on November 12th 1969 in Columbus, Ohio the son of Larry and Marcene (Mehl) Santacrose. Mike graduated from Troy Athens High school in 1987. He worked as a eye glass crafter at SVS vision. Mike loved spending time with is family and friends. He enjoyed frequenting local establishments, skateboarding, kayaking, bowling and singing around a fire pit.

Mike is survived by his parents, Larry and Marcene Santacrose, his brother Larry Santacrose Jr., his life partner and love of his life Jennifer DeBlauwe, his son and bestfriend Wyatt Santacrose, his two bonus children Jenna DeBlauwe, Dennis DeBlauwe and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mike was loved by many, his contagious smile, laugh and light hearted spirit will be missed by all who loved him.

Visitation will be held Friday January 6th at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral home in Romeo, MI (11280 32 mi. rd. 48065) from 3-7pm with a Funeral Service beginning at 7pm.

There will be a CELEBRATION OF LIFE, held on Saturday January 7th from 4-10pm at the local VFW Hall located at (70455 McVicar Rd Romeo, MI 48065).
