Michael J. Allmacher

Michael J. Allmacher, age 78, a resident of Washington Township since 1974, passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 at his home in Washington, Michigan. Michael was born June 13, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Harold and Virginia (Meyers) Allmacher. Michael was a United States Marine Corporal, and served his country from 1960-1963. Michael then worked at Ford Motor Company from 1964 to 1997 when he retired. Michael enjoyed sports, especially golf, as well as woodworking, cutting down trees and his backyard. He was also a fan of both the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Lions. Michael is survived by his wife Judy, of Washington Township, children Jeff Allmacher, of Washington Township, and Laura (David) Chase of St. Clair Township, sisters-in-law Janet Lingo of Kentucky, and Sheila Gordon of Minnesota, as well as grandchildren Amanda Chase, Jessica Chase, and Lucas Chase. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 12-3 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
