Michael S. Rosales

Michael S. Rosales, age 80, a 35 year resident of Washington Township, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy. Michael was born November 14, 1930 in Detroit, the son of Jose and Antonia Rosales. He married the former June Ann Noor and she preceded him in death in 1984. Michael earned his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and then worked as an engineer for Chrysler Corporation, Ford Motor Company, and also for Volkswagen Corporation. He retired early and then worked for different companies as a sub contractor in the mechanical engineer field for many years. His hobbies upon retiring include playing softball, photography, dancing, being an amateur actor with the Romeo Players, and especially being with his family. Michael is survived by his children: Michael (Chelle) Rosales of Englewood, Colorado, Dave (Marie) Rosales of Southfield, Cheryl (Don) Ainslie of Waterford, Ray (Karen) Rosales of Lake Orion, Lisa (Al) Roberts of Washington Township, and Tony (Gladys) Rosales of Sterling Heights. Also survived by 17 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren along with siblings: Helen, Liz, Joe, Mary, Robert, and Theresa all of Michigan. Michael was preceded in death by his infant daughter Carol Ann and sister Tina. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church in Romeo. Visitation will take place on Saturday from 5-8 and on Sunday from 3-9 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
