Mickie Hoefer

Mickie Hoefer, age 65, a longtime resident of Washington Township, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, Michigan. Mickie was born August 21, 1958 in Almont, Michigan, the daughter of Harvey McDonald and Margaret (Strouse) McDonald. Mickie graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1976, then worked as a Machine Operator for Mayco International Plastics for 26 years. She enjoyed crafts, Stony Creek Park and going for drives.

Mickie is survived by her daughter Megan Hoefer of Washington Township, son Ronny (Jessica) Hoefer of Almont, siblings Bobbie Gregory of Algonac, Connie (Patrick) Pardon of Washington, Jackie (Ronald) Mackay of Washington, Jerrie Blewett of Columbus, Michigan, and grandchildren Shawn, Zachary, and Willow.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023 from 2:00PM-8:00PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 11:00AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
