Mildred A. Clark, age 77, a 52 year resident of Washington Twp., passed away at her home on Friday, October 3, 2008. Mildred was born in Kentucky on May 4, 1931, the daughter of Delbert B. and Ollie Mae (Tuttle) Cole. Mildred was married to Frank Taylor and then to James Clark who preceded her in death in 1984. She worked with the mentally challenged children at her home for over 11 years. Mildred loved to write and was an unpublished author and she also enjoyed watercolor painting. Mildred is survived by her son, Frank Taylor of Washington Twp. and her daughter Donna Urbantke of Carlsbad, Texas along with grandchildren Adam Taylor of San Antonio, TX. and Jason Babicki of Boco Ratan, FL. Also survived by siblings, Thelma Collins of Girdler, Kentucky, Faye Frost of Kernersville, North Carolina, Vivian Creighton of Heidrick, Kentucky along with nieces Anita Frost and Joetta Howard. Also survived by her close friend Fannie Weiner of Romeo. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Jennifer Babicki and by her siblings Joyce Jackson, Ruth Trent, Gene and Robert Cole. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Mark Evans of St John Lutheran Church of Romeo officiating.
