Mildred E. Fox

Mildred E. Fox, age 87, a 9 year resident of Romeo and formerly from Shelby Township, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at the Shelby Nursing Facility. Mildred was born May 22, 1924 in Eastpointe, MI., the daughter of Edward and Rose (Gonbic) Bolle. She married Alfred Fox on June 21, 1947 at St Veronica’s Catholic Church in Eastpointe. Her hobbies include having a great sense of humor, doing crafts and ceramics, and just being around people. Mildred is survived by her husband Alfred of Romeo, sons: Jim (Lori) Fox of Shelby Twp., and Mike (Debbie) Fox of Harrison Twp. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and preceded in death by her siblings: Sis O’Hara, Edward and Fred Bolle. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 6 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-6 PM.
