Mildred L Roeder

Mildred L. Roeder, age 97, a 42 year resident of Bruce Township and formerly from St Clair, MI., passed away at the Campbell Nursing Facility in Addison Twp., on Friday, June 21, 2013. Mildred was born November 9, 1915 in Casco Twp., MI., the daughter of William and Martha (Green) Bark. She married Leland Roeder in 1938 at the First Evangelican & Reform Church in Richmond, MI. and he preceded her in death in 1971. Mildred enjoyed golfing, traveling, crocheting, all type of sports, especially watching the Detroit Tigers & Lions. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren in sports over the years. Mildred is survived by her daughter Karol (Sigmar) Regius of Bruce Township., grandchildren: Melissa (Jed) Cavadas of Columbiaville Station, Ohio and Mark (Mindy) Regius of Romeo. great-grandchildren include Mark Jr., & Maxwell Regius and Troy Cavadas. Mildred was preceded in death by her 8 siblings: Marvin, Melvin, Alger, Bill, Myrtle, & Marjorie Bark, Elaine Malstrom, & Vera Fenton. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 11 AM at St John Lutheran Church (246 Benjamin Street, Romeo) with Rev. Mark Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in St Clair, Michigan. Visitation will be on Monday from 3-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
