Minnie L. Haska

Minnie L. Haska (nee Lowell), age 92, of Lenox passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018, at home. Minnie was born on February 28, 1926, the daughter of Smith and Mina. Minnie graduated from Eastland High School in 1943 and married Harvey on July 28, 1944, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Roseville. They lived throughout Macomb County, until Harvey's retirement in 1984. She and Harvey moved and lived in Port Richey, Florida for 28 years before returning home to Michigan. She loved to bake and sew, making several beautiful quilts for many of her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading her Bible. Minnie is survived by her children, Nancy (Lawrence) Allard of Chesterfield, Lawrence (Cheryl) Haska of Warren, Ronald (Heidi) Haska of Belmont, Mass., Pamela (Donald) Walker of Lenox, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; sister Winifred Martin as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, daughter Barbara and siblings Johanna, Walter, Caroline, Edith and James. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, March 24, at 7 PM at Grace Lutheran Church, Romeo. Burial at Cadillac Memorial Gardens.
