Muriel N. Kort

Muriel N. Kort age 88, a 20 year resident of Washington Twp. passed away on January 20, 2015 at Troy Beaumont Hospital. Muriel was born on June 26, 1926 the daughter of James and Edwina (Murphy) Atkinson. Muriel loved to golf, bowl, play cards, and dance. She especially loved her family dearly. Muriel is survived by her children Larry (Bonnie) of South Carolina, Robert (Lynn) of Arkansas, Michael (Marsha) of Detroit, Kathleen (Bill) Watts of Ortonville, and Gregory of Grosse Pointe Woods. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years Werner in 2013. Funeral services will take place on Saturday January 24, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Clement Catholic Church Romeo, Michigan. Visitation will be on Friday January 23, 2015 from 2-8 at the Henry M.
