Myron D. Grabske

Myron D. Grabske, age 81, a longtime Shelby Township resident, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan. Mike was born August 15, 1935 in West Allis, Wisconsin the son of Lester and Wanda (Lukasik) Grabske. Mike married the former Diane (Scherer). Mike graduated from the University of Wisconsin with his bachelor’s Degree and from Wayne State University with his Masters Degree. After working in the Utica School System for 8 years, Mike moved to the Romeo area and worked for over 30 years, retiring as the Principal at Indian Hills Elementary. Mike was an avid hunter. Mike is survived by his children: Michael, Carleana (Chris) Huget and John. Also survived by his grandchildren Emma & Ryan. Mike was preceded in death by his wife Diane, and his daughter Tamara House. A Memorial Mass will take place on Friday September 8 at 11 AM at St Kieran’s Catholic Church in Shelby Township. Visitation with family will be from 10:30 till 11 AM, the time the Mass starts. Donation to the Indian Hills Library would be appreciated.
