Nancy J. Konwinski, age72, a resident of Armada Township for 35 years and formerly from Mt Clemens, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015 at the Village Rehab and Care Center in Armada. Nancy was born July 7, 1942 in Rochester, Michigan, the daughter of Alva Maine and Irene (Coulter) Henderson. Nancy worked as a seamstress for many years at Van Epoch Van conversion company in Romeo and formerly also worked as a seamstress for Ford Motor Company. Nancy enjoyed going to church at the Cross Community Church in Bruce Township and loved to play bingo. Nancy is survived by her husband Dennis,: children: Dale Roughton of Memphis, MI., Lisa (Mike) Chambers of Clinton Township, and Mark Konwinski also of Clinton Township. Grandchildren include Pauline, Kayla, Sydney, and Nolan along with great grandchildren Lucas & Lillian. Siblings include her 2 sisters: Onalee Young and Kathy (Richard) Knoll both of Lapeer and she was preceded in death by her parents and sister Charlene Avenall. Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 11 AM at Stiles Cemetery in Lapeer with Pastor Chet Decker officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 24 from 3-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Donations to the “Hope Center in Macomb†would be appreciated.
