Nancy Joan Randall, age 87, a longtime Romeo resident, passed away on April 11, 2020 at Troy Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan. Nancy was born on November 7, 1932 in Armada, Michigan, the daughter of Daniel Herman Themm and Charlene (Retzlaff). After graduating high school, she married Richard Randall and followed him to California while he served in the Marines. They later returned to Romeo where Nancy and Richard built the home they would live in for over 60 years. Nancy assisted Richard in the operation of a business in Romeo for many years. She was also an accomplished artist who taught art, painted commissioned works, and won numerous awards. Nancy’s paintings reflected subjects related to her childhood on farms in Armada and Almont, as well as florals inspired by her many gardens. Nancy is survived by her children; Todd (Wendy) of Bruce Township, Tim (Melanie) of Washington Township and brother Charles “Chuck” Themm of Florida. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, brothers Donald and Francis. She was a proud grandmother of four grandchildren; Alexander, Abigail, Jacob, and Samantha. A private service will be held in accordance with current restrictions, with interment at Hough Cemetery in Almont.
