Natalie Ann Cameron , age 29, of Oxford, MI, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024.
Natalie was born to Francis and Gwendolyn (Winget) Cameron in Rochester, MI. From a young age, she excelled in gymnastics, figure skating, and later pursued ballroom dance. Natalie also thoroughly enjoyed baking, sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, broadway music, reading, watching movies, and above all, spending time with her family. She also cherished spending time with her dog, Annabelle. Natalie earned degrees in Exercise Science (B.S.) and Exercise Science and Kinesiology (M.S.) from Liberty University. She became certified as an Exercise Physiologist and started her own small business with goals to help others battling cancer and other chronic illnesses. She was a loving aunt to her niece and nephews and served also as a godmother to Colt, Jack, Tommy, and Charlie.
Natalie first battled AML Leukemia in 2013, demonstrating immense courage throughout her treatment. She underwent a successful bone marrow transplant in 2014 but faced challenges with GVHD for the following decade. In 2023, she was diagnosed with Glioblastoma. Throughout these numerous trials, Natalie remained steadfast in her faith in Jesus Christ, viewing her journey as a mission field to inspire others with her unwavering belief in His greater purpose.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gwendolyn Cameron. Natalie is survived by her father, Francis Cameron; sisters, Frances Boone (Corbin) and Abigail Madewell (David); brother, Spencer Cameron (Haylee); niece and nephews, Colt, Gwen, Judah, Charlie, and Caleb; maternal and paternal grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family expresses deep gratitude for the support and care Natalie received from friends, medical professionals, and the community throughout her journey. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Lutheran Fellowship or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Natalie's life exemplified strength, grace, and an unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. Her legacy will forever inspire us to live with courage, compassion, and a deep love for God and others.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, MI from 1:00 - 8:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Grace Lutheran Church (7525 32 Mi Rd, Bruce Twp, MI 48065) at 10:00 am
Burial will take place immediately following the service at the Lakeville Cemetery.
