Neal Joseph O'Brien

Neal O’Brien, Age 73, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2023, at his home in Romeo,Michigan. Neal grew up in Detroit, as the youngest of eight children and a friend to many. He enjoyed golf, reading, and most of all making people laugh. He was a “Big Guy” with a big heart, who loved to tell a tall tale or two and enjoyed a lively discussion. He will be greatly missed by the enormous circle of people who loved him.

Neal was predeceased by his father, Cletus Jerome O’Brien, his mother, Milmer Klien O’Brien, three brothers and a sister: Peter O’Brien, Robin O’Brien, John O’Brien, and Eileen O’Brien Howell. He is survived by his wife Nancy, daughters Maggie (Steve) Redden, Cathleen O’Brien and two grandsons, Jack and Tommy Redden.

An open house celebration of life will be held on September 1, 2023, from 4-8 PM  open house at Greystone Golf Course in Washington twp.
