Norbert Michael Pioro

Norbert Michael Pioro, age 65, resident of Oakland Twp., passed away on July 7, 2022 at Troy Beaumont Hospital. Norbert was born on June 22, 1957, son of Antoni and Renate (Gaebel). Norbert was married to the love of his life Jeanne (Murray) for 37 years and had two amazing sons. He had nicknames for everyone. Sons Erik (schnook) Tony (snook) along with his grandchildren Ava (pootz) Emma (bootz) who were his pride and joy. He was very fluent in German and Polish and the grandchildren call them Opa and Oma. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, boating, riding his Harley and loved to cook! Norbert and Jeanne loved riding the back country roads and a very memorable trip to Kentucky on the Harley. His larger-than-life presence, vast knowledge (he could answer questions on Jeopardy like no one else!) quick wit and wisdom drew people to him. He added to the life of every person who had the pleasure and honor of knowing him. He has left an indelible mark on so many lives. He retired May 2020 from General Motors after 42 years as an Electrician. Norbert is survived by his loving wife Jeanne, sons Erik (Kellie) Pioro and Antoni Pioro. His brothers Richard (Mari) Pioro and Frank Pioro. Grandchildren Ava and Emma Pioro. Niece and nephew Lauryn and Nikolas Pioro. Along with many other family members. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 17,2022 at 4:30 pm at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo. Visitation will be 2 -6 pm
