Nyla M. Welch

Nyla M. Welch, age 92, of Armada Michigan, passed away on May 2, 2021 at the Armada Advantage Living Center. Nyla was born on March 2, 1929 in Flint, Michigan., the daughter of William and Rueybelle (Barber) Fox. She married her loving husband Calvin in 1947 in Romeo, Michigan., and preceded in her death on October 13, 2011. Nyla worked for many years as a Big Boy employee. Nyla was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Richmond, Michigan for many years where she worked as Treasurer and Secretary, Nyla was also a member of the Ladies of Auxilary VFW in Berville, Mi for many years. Nyla is survived by her children, Daniel (Patricia) Welch, and Brian (Teresa) Welch, Carol (Ronald) Droste, and Judy Tingley. Brothers: Gaynor Fox of Rochester Hills, Mi., and Gilbert (Bonnie) Fox of East Jordan. Nyla has 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Nyla was preceded in death by her two sons, Donald and Robert Welch and her daughter Darlene. Also preceded by her brothers Raynor of Allington, Mi., Blane (4yrs of age), and Lester of Lake Orion, Michigan. Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday , May 5, 2021 at 7 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 5, 2021 from 2-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. A burial will take place on Thursday May 6, 2021 at 11:30 am at Christian Memorial Cemetery in Rochester Hills, Michigan In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Azlheimer’s Association
