Patricia A. Rashid

Patricia A. Rashid, age 74, a resident of Romeo since 1966 and formerly from the Detroit area, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. Patricia was born February 14, 1937 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Dudley and Esther (Chandler) Miller. She married Amil J. Rashid on June 1, 1957 at Our Lady of Redemption Catholic Church in Detroit. She was a loving and intelligent woman. She was a talented seamstress, cook, and artist. She will be missed by her family and friends. Patricia is survived by her husband Amil J. of Romeo, children: Dudley (Laura) Rashid of Wisconsin, Pamela Rashid of Royal Oak, Laura (Tom) Fett of Macomb Township, Timothy (Julie) Rashid of Romeo, Jennifer (Paul) Medaugh of Ray, and Aimee (Kevin) Smith of Huntington Woods. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and siblings: Don (Chris) Miller of Arkansas, Bruce (Antoinette) Miller of Colorado, Judy Knight of Indiana, June Barr of Romeo, and Jane Moran of West Bloomfield. Patricia was preceded in death by her children Christopher & Rebecca along with her brother Neil Miller. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo. Burial will follow in the Romeo Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-9 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
