Patricia M. Wecker

Patricia Maryann Wecker, age 80, a resident of Almont since 1978, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan with her daughter and family at her bedside. Pat was born May 23, 1940 in Pontiac, Michigan the daughter of Clarence Morris and Sophia (Barlog) Chapoton. After graduating from Anchor Bay High Schoolin 1958, she began working at Ford Motor Company where she spent over 30 years working there and retiring as an Executive Secretary. On November 25, 1977, she married Michael J. Wecker at the First Presbyterian Church in Mt Clemens, MI. “Love Will Keep Us Together” Upon retirement, she enjoyed her friends, travel, card games, reading, music and dancing, working on her flowers, shopping, 4th of July in Ludington, and especially time with her grandson Steven. Pat was a “unique” gift giver who kept it secret. She also like watching the water in the summer at the beach in Ludington, Michigan. Pat is survived by her husband Michael of Almont, children: Diane Mason (Ken) Kossak of Clarkston, MI., Michael D. Wecker of Mt Clemens, Marc (Michele) Wecker of Almont, Christoper Wecker of Buffalo, NY., and Anthony Wecker of Big Rapids, MI. Also survived by grandchildren Steven Kossak and Lily, along with Jonathan, Jeremiah, Mason, and Mariah. Sister Judith (Stanley) Kucemba of Clinton Twp. Funeral services will be private (contact the family). Donations to Covenant House or to Carriage Town, both of the Flint, area would be appreciated. Local arrangements by the Henry M.
