Paul A. Ries

Paul A. Ries, age 66 a lifelong Macomb County resident passed away on October 22, 2014. Paul was born on March 31, 1948 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan the son of Vincent and Flora (Rosso). Paul worked for many years at National Twist Drill before starting his own company in 1983 called Ries Well Drilling inc.. He loved golfing, tractors, snowmobiling, hunting, and fishing. Paul is survived by his two children Scott (Jennifer) of Allenton and Cheryl (Carlos) Asturias of Bristow, VA. Brothers Charlie of Rochester, John of Port Huron, and Mark of Colorado. Also, seven grandchildren. Paul was predeceased by his parents Vincent and Flora, sisters Marsha and Ellen, and brother Martin. Funeral services will take place on Saturday October 25, 2014 at 10 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Majeski officiating. Visitation will be on Friday October 24, 2014 from 3-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Grand Lawn Cemetery.
