Paul Edlif Hansen

Paul Edlif Hansen, age 87, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2016. Paul was born July 25, 1929 in Detroit, the son of John and Karoline (Edlefsen) Hansen. He married Wanda Grace Kroll and she preceded him in death on October 4, 2012. Paul joined the Navy during the Korean War and was stationed aboard the USS Wasp. After discharging from the Navy, Paul had two successful careers in his life: QA Manager @ Ford Tractor and Director of Special Projects @ LSSM. After the 2nd retirement party, he decided to devote his time and talents to Samaritan House and was the Romeo Village President for many years. Paul is survived by his children: Lisa (Ron) Schocke & Mike (Becky) Hansen, 6 grandchildren: Michael (Jackie) Schocke, Andy Schocke, Stephen (Brooke) Schocke, Christopher (Erica) Hansen, Paul Hansen, and Alyssa Hansen, and seven and 8/9th great grandchildren. Also survived by brother-in-law Ralph (Ann) Pedersen, David (Betty) Kroll and several nephews and nieces. Paul was preceded in death by his sister Else Pedersen. Memorial services will take place on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Mark Evans officiating. Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 3-8 PM at the Funeral Home. Donations to Samaritan House would be appreciated.
