Pauline F. Sieger, age 91, a 64 year resident of the Romeo area, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at the Village Assisted Living in Armada, Michigan. Pauline was born January 14, 1918 in Winters, TX., the daughter of Frank and Elsa (Andrae) Deike. She married Harold F. Sieger on September 27, 1942 and he preceded her in death on June 9, 1993. Along with her husband and children, they were longtime members of St John Lutheran Church of Romeo. Pauline was known throughout the area for her beautiful quilts that she continued to make till her death. Pauline is survived by her children: James (Janis) Sieger of Sterling Heights, Carolyn (William) Higgins of Holly, Donna (Steven) Hennessy of Miami, Florida and Kathleen (Earl) Proctor of Armada. Grandchildren include Kristin Komar, Wendy (Tom) Shiner, Tanya (John) Milostan, Erin Proctor, Andrea (Alex) Green, Kyle Proctor, and Laurelle Hennessy. Great grandchildren include John, Zachary, & Daniel Milostan, Thomas & Nicholas Shiner. Siblings surviving include Josephine Mittelstaedt of Los Angelas, California and Mathilda Elkins of New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her daughters Marilyn Strauss and Linda Kay Sieger along with siblings Hilda Kurtz, Olga Canada, and Fritz Deike. Funeral services will take place on Friday at 11 AM at St John Lutheran Church of Romeo with Rev. Mark Evans officiating. Burial will follow at the Romeo Cemetery. Donations to St John Lutheran Church would be appreciated. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 6-9 and on Thursday from 2-9 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo, Michigan. Visitation: Wedneday 6-9 Thursday 2-9 Services: Friday 11 AM at St John Lutheran Church, Romeo. Visititation at church from 10 AM- 11 AM, the hour of service Interment: Romeo Cemetery, immediately following and a funeral lunch will then follow back at St John Lutheran
