Peter D. Pringham

Peter D. Pringham, age 71, a 45 year resident of Romeo, passed away on Sunday October 18, 2015 at the Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. Peter was born on June 16, 1944 in Oxford, England, the son of Henry and Hilde (Sebba) Pringham. Peter married the former Karen Fischer in 1967 at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Roseville, where they are still members today. After graduating from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor Degree, Peter started working at the Romeo Middle School where he taught History for 32 years before retiring in 1997. Upon retirement, Peter and Karen enjoyed traveling. He also painted decoys, did all types of crafts, gardening, reading and following all types of sports. Peter is survived by his wife Karen and brother Frank (Sherry) Pringham of Atlanta, Georgia. Also survived by nieces and nephews: Christina (Rob) Robinson and their children Asher & Waverly, Laura (Kelley) Rhino and their children Austin, Catherine, and Morgan, Jennifer (Anthony) DeCinque and their son Logan, and Stephen (Rachael) Fischer. Funeral services will be held on Friday October 23, 2015 at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Jeffrey Frechette, Sr. of Bethlehem Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will take place Wednesday October 21 from 5 PM until 8 PM and Thursday October 22, from 3 PM until 8 PM. Donations can be made out to the American Cancer Society.
