Philip Keith Ellis

Philip Keith Ellis, age 66, lifelong resident of Romeo/Washington, MI., passed away April 11, 2021. Philip was born on March 13, 1955 in Portsmouth, Ohio. Preceded in death are his parents, William and Edna(Mason) Ellis. Philip worked at local motorcycle dealerships, Stone’s Sport Marine and Lindy’s Suzuki. He started carpentry in 1978 and continued for 44yrs. He loved telling stories, family, travel, gardening, and had an extreme love for motorcycles. Philip is survived by his wife of 44 years, Margaret, his children Bret (Tracy) Ellis of Washington, Michigan, and Nicole (Ryan) Ellis of San Francisco, California. Also survived by his brothers, Kenneth (Kimberly) Ellis of Ray Township, Michigan, and Stephen Ellis of Irvine, California. Philip has one grandchild, Olivia Ellis.niece Sarah (David) Kirtley, and nephew Keenan Ellis, also great Nephew, Ronin Kirtley. Burial Services will be on Friday April 16, 2021 at 10AM at Mt. Vernon. Visitation will take place at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home on Thursday April 15, 2021 from 3-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation.
