Phillip L. Fleury

Phillip L. Fleury, age 66, a 37 year resident of Romeo and formerly from Roseville, passed away at his home on Monday, October 1, 2007.  Phil was born May 15, 1941 in Roseville, MI., the son of Ralph T. and Marie (Renaund) Fleury.   He married Sandra Lamiman on November 24, 1967 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Roseville.  Phillip was the owner/operator of Fleury Home Maintenace for many years.  He was a former member of the Romeo Rotary Club and was a current member of St Clement Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council # 7018 and the 4th Degree Cardinal Mooney Assembly of Richmond.  Phil also served his Country in the Army.      Phil is survived by his wife Sandra of Romeo , two sons, Scott (Mary) of Superior Twp., and Steve (Cheryl) of Romeo.  His mother Marie Fleury of Roseville survives. Also survived by grandchildren Elizabeth Osborne, Maggie Parson, Brooke, William, Kevin & Devin Fleury. Siblings surviving include Jeanette Martin of Big Rapids, Frank (Karen) Fleury of Rochester, Jerry (Lisa) Fleury of New Era, MI., Rick Fleury of Chesterfield Twp., Ron (Tammy) Fleury of Big Rapids, and Beth (Arch) Van Meter of Chicago.  He was preceded in death by his grandson Andrew along with brother Alfred & sister Anna May Fleury.      Funeral services will take place on Friday at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo followed by burial at the Romeo Cemetery.  Visitation is on Thursday from 2-9 with a 7 PM rosary at Henry M.
