Phyllis M. Pardy

Phyllis M. Pardy, age 69, a 35 year resident of Leonard, MI., and formerly from Detroit, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills, Michigan.  Phyllis was born December 28, 1938 in Detroit, the daughter of Joseph and Kathering Gatt.  She married Sam Pardy on June 7, 1958 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Detroit.  Along with her husband, they were longtime members of St Joseph Catholic Church in Lake Orion.  Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, collecting ceramic plates and clocks.    Phyllis is survived by her husband Sam, son Dennis of Amherst, Ohio and brother Jim (Nancy) Cook of Inkster, MI.  She was preceded in death by her sons Randy on April 3, 2002 and Gary on May 23, 2004.      Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM at St Joseph Catholic Church of Lake Orion with Fr. Michael Verschaeve officiating.  Burial will follow in Guardian Angels Cemetery in Oakland Township.  Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-9 and on Thursday from 2-9 at the Henry M.
